3. SMS Communications (Canada)

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive SMS messages from Sports Hive AI, we will use your number only for the purposes you have agreed to, such as responding to inquiries, providing customer support, sending campaign performance updates, account notifications, or other service-related communications.

• SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
• We do not sell, rent, or distribute your mobile phone number to third parties for their own marketing.
• Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with us.
• Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and plan.
• You can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages unless you opt in again.

• Your phone number and SMS communication records are retained only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

By opting in to receive SMS messages, you consent to the collection and use of your mobile phone number in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

4. How We Share Information

We don't sell your data. Ever. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run our business (hosting, our CRM for managing customer relationships, and the analytics and visitor identification partners described in Section 7), and legal authorities when required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions for up to 24 months for follow-up and improvement purposes. Customer data is retained as needed to deliver our services and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to: access the information we have about you, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, opt out of communications, and ask questions about how we handle your data. Email matt@sportshiveai.com for any of these.

7. Cookies, Analytics & Visitor Identification

We use cookies and similar technologies for website functionality and analytics (including Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use our site.

We also use visitor identification technology on our website. If you visit our site from the United States, this technology may match your device or browsing activity against verified, permissioned consumer databases maintained by our data partners to identify contact information such as your name, email address, or household details. We use this to follow up about the services you showed interest in — for example, a retargeting ad or an email from us. Text messages are only ever sent with your express opt-in consent, as described in Section 3. Visitor identification is not active for visitors outside the United States.

You can opt out of visitor identification and related marketing at any time by emailing matt@sportshiveai.com with "opt out," or by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

We use industry-standard encryption, secure hosting, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated.
